There are numerous tasks to tackle in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Some tasks unlock tools or areas immediately, while others form part of a longer quest line. One such quest is “Reboot the Robots,” which involves the Dance Hall located on Gemstone Mountain.
This guide will help you navigate the “Reboot the Robots” quest in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. To complete this task, you need to locate five Floppy Disks, which might be challenging if you’re unsure where to search. Luckily, we’ll point out each location for you.
Prerequisites for Starting Reboot the Robots
To initiate “Reboot the Robots,” you must complete the quest titled Bring Back the Swing and achieve friendship level seven with Chococat, who is the one giving out this quest.
Once you’ve accomplished these requirements, go to the outside of the Dance Hall and talk to Chococat.
Locating All Five Floppy Disks
After entering the Dance Hall with Chococat, he will assign you the task of finding five Floppy Disks to repair the Dokidoki Yummychums Band. The disks are scattered throughout an area indicated on the map, but their specific locations aren’t marked.
No worries—we’ve outlined where to find each one on the map above, as well as in the table below.
Floppy Disk |
Location |
---|---|
1 |
In the bush to the left of the Oasis mailbox |
2 |
Next to a cactus on the right side of the cave entrance (where you find Fizzy Crystals) |
3 |
On the left side of the raised bridge beneath the cabins in Gemstone Town |
4 |
Between the two cabins to the left of Gemstone Town center |
5 |
Behind the building on the right next to the Soda Machine (on a fence) |
These Floppy Disks can be collected even before starting this quest. If you already have some but can’t recall their locations, you’ll need to revisit those spots. Fortunately, you don’t need any special tools to obtain the disks.
Using the Floppy Disks
Once you have all five Floppy Disks, return to Chococat and hand them over. After that, you’ll need to locate the Master Control Room. Chococat will guide you to a spot close to the hidden entrance, but you’ll have to find it yourself.
To get there quickly, go to the Icy Peak mailbox and leap down to a ledge marked with the Floppy Disk icon on the map. You’ll notice a boulder blocking the entrance. Use your pickaxe to break the boulder, and then continue inside.
There’s not much left to do for the quest. Speak with Chococat inside, and then there’s one final step. By pressing the designated button, the Dokidoki Yummychums band will get activated, and you will finish the quest.
