In The Sims 4: Enchanted By Nature, Mother Nature is a new non-playable character (NPC) who aids you in your quest to become a fairy. She will assist you in gaining or losing your fairy status or in resetting your fairy abilities. However, she doesn’t just appear in Everdew—you’ll have to call her to chat.
Of course, you might wonder if she’s romanceable. The answer is somewhat complicated. We’ll explore how to summon Mother Nature, discuss the available interactions without mods, and examine what kind of relationship you can pursue with her.
How To Summon Mother Nature
To summon Mother Nature, find and plant a fairy seedling. Once it’s in the ground, she will appear. You can interact with her, and she will stick around for a while, but she will disappear after a few hours, just like Patchy or Grim.
Finding fairy seedlings isn’t too hard, so you can summon her again. The quickest way is to ask a fairy for one. Engage them in conversation, and then select Fairy > Social > Ask For Fairy Seedling.
You can also forage for seedlings anywhere in Everdew, but this method can be time-consuming, so asking is quicker.
To plant the seedling, just click on any patch of grass or soil and select Plant Fairy Seedling. A plant will sprout and transform into Mother Nature.
How To Romance Mother Nature
You can romance Mother Nature using standard romantic interactions from the social menu. However, this is trickier than a typical relationship since she will disappear after a few hours.
Reports indicate she can vanish within two to six hours after being summoned, without any clear trigger for her departure. Interacting with her can help extend her stay, but if your relationship level is low, she may leave mid-conversation.
How To Build A Relationship With Mother Nature
To build a meaningful relationship, you’ll likely need to summon Mother Nature multiple times. She won’t appear in the social menu, which means you’ll need to rely on her preferences.
Once your relationship level is sufficiently high, you can offer her a key to your home. After this gesture, she may ask to visit and will stay longer.
In terms of relationship dynamics, you can engage in all regular romantic interactions, including woohoo. Friendship options are also available. Mixing both types of interactions can speed up the advancement of your relationship.
Mother Nature’s Likes And Dislikes
If you have the Lovestruck trait, note that Mother Nature is open to pursuing relationships with Sims of any gender.
She possesses the traits of being outgoing, cheerful, and loves the outdoors. Her turn-ons and turn-offs include:

Can You Marry Mother Nature?
Unfortunately, you cannot marry Mother Nature. You can only request to be woohoo partners. After some time, she might propose to become romantic partners, but that’s as far as the relationship can go without cheats.
While she cannot get pregnant, you can have a science baby together once you reach partner status.
Can You Add Mother Nature To Your Household?
You can add Mother Nature to your household, but only by using cheats. To do this:
- Open the text box (Ctrl + Shift + C or all four shoulder buttons)
- Type testingcheats on and hit enter.
- Shift-click on Mother Nature and select Add To Family.
Keep in mind that some glitches might occur with her, given her status as an NPC. If she’s in your household, you can still summon another NPC version of her, much like you can with Grim.
