Rummage Piles have been a prominent feature in Palia for some time now. Each day, you can find a mound of sticks or remnants of a shipwreck scattered throughout Kilima or Bahari Bay, often hiding valuable treasures. With the Elderwood Expansion, these rummage piles have received exciting upgrades.
If you’re new to the game or haven’t explored these piles yet, you might be curious about what they are and how to take advantage of them. In this guide, we’ll break down what rummage piles offer, what treasures you can uncover, and where to locate them.
What Are Rummage Piles?
Rummage Piles are another way for players to collect loot in the game. In Kilima and Bahari Bay, these piles can reward you with various furniture recipes, gear, materials, or quest items.
In Elderwood, the rummage piles contain artifacts that you can trade with Elouisa for Elouisa’s Fun Bucks, which can then be used in her shop to purchase relic recipes.
How Do You Find Rummage Piles?
Rummage piles appear in different locations each day, but the spot will be consistent for all players. The piles in Kilima and Bahari Bay are refreshed daily,
while the Elderwood piles respawn twice a day.
You can typically find rummage piles in Kilima Valley around the Mirror Pond Ruins or Leafhopper Hills, and in Bahari Bay, look around Beachcomber Cove and Coral Shores.
As for Elderwood, the rummage piles are usually located in places like the Deep Woods or Mitana Grove, although they can appear anywhere in the area.
In Kilima and Bahari Bay, simply interacting with the rummage piles is enough to search them, but the ones in Elderwood require a Fine Hoe to dig up.
To help you track these piles, you can purchase the Artifact Tracker from Elouisa at the Elderwood Central Stables for one Elouisa’s Fun Bucks. This tool shows you the location of artifacts hidden within the Elderwood rummage piles. Once you get within a certain range, the pile icon will appear on your compass, guiding you to their location.
