While you journey through Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll encounter a variety of secrets and storylines that connect the villagers. From beloved Pixar characters to classic Disney princesses and villains, there’s plenty to explore in the diverse biomes that make up the Valley.
Most villagers are eager to join the community, but the Cheshire Cat is an exception. Although he enjoys finding a new place for his playful mischief, he needs assistance bringing his cherished home into the Valley. You can help him by restoring harmony and creating a suitable space for him, so he doesn’t disrupt his new neighbors.
Where to Find Cheshire Catfish
Once you finish the Mannequin Madness and Chaos In The Kitchen quests, talk to Moana about some unusual happenings with the fish at Dazzle Beach. She’s spotted some new pink and purple striped fish on her boat: the Cheshire Catfish.
You’ll need to catch five more in gold bubbles. Not every gold bubble will contain a Cheshire Catfish, so it might take a bit of time to catch them all. Afterward, show the Cheshire Catfish to Alice.
Where to Find the Cheshire Cat’s Mini Tree
When you present the fish to Alice, she welcomes you into her home to resolve the issue with the Cheshire Cat. Once inside, the source of the chaos finally appears.
He’s searching for something specific—his tree! It’s hidden in the house, and he can’t seem to locate it. Go to Alice’s bedroom and take a photo of the tree portrait behind her bookcase. The tree will then appear on the floor, allowing you to pick it up and return it to the Cheshire Cat.
Where to Place the Cheshire Cat’s Tree
Things are nearly back to normal, but the Cheshire Cat notes that he prefers the outdoors. The mini tree isn’t quite large enough for his needs. He recommends you move it outside to help it thrive so he can finally have a home in the village.
Open the furniture menu and place the Cheshire Cat’s tree wherever you’d like. Great spots include the Forest of Valor or Teapot Falls (if you have the Storybook Vale expansion, you may need to relocate it later).
After placing the tree, return to it and talk to the Cheshire Cat. There are no extra rewards for you to earn, but now the Cheshire Cat is officially a part of the village.
