Completing Every Pet Mutation and Its Effects in Grow A Garden

For players of Roblox Grow a Garden who care more about their pets than their plants (myself included), there’s an exciting new feature: pet mutations! Now, you can enhance your favorite pets while they explore your garden.

Currently, there are 12 active pet mutations available in Grow a Garden. We’ll keep this guide updated as more mutations are introduced. Here’s everything you need to know about pet mutations and what each one does.

How to Give Your Pet a Mutation

To give your pet a mutation, it must be at least Level 50 and it will cost you 500 million sheckles. The mutation process takes one hour, after which your pet will receive a random mutation from the available options.

All Pet Mutations and Their Traits

Here’s a list of the currently available pet mutations, including their traits and the probability of getting them.

As we haven’t unlocked all mutations yet, some details come from the community, and we’ll revise them as necessary.

Shiny	This pet gains an additional 15% to XP per second.	32.15%
Inverted	This provides a 30% boost to XP per second.	16.08%
Windy	Every 300-30m, there’s a 20-30% chance that a nearby fruit becomes Windstruck.	9.65%
Frozen	Every 5-0.5m, there’s a 20-30% chance that a nearby fruit becomes Frozen.	9.65%
Golden	This greatly increases the pet’s passive trait.	6.43%
Tiny	The pet shrinks, making its hunger rate 20% slower and it gains 5-30 extra XP per second.	6.43%
Mega	The pet grows larger, which makes its hunger rate 20% faster but grants 10-40 extra XP per second.	6.43%
IronSkin	There’s a 35-45% chance the pet will recover stolen fruit.	3.22%
Radiant	Every 30-20m, the pet emits sunshine that advances a plant’s growth by 24 hours.	3.22%
Shocked	If it’s a Thunderstorm, every 60-45 seconds, the pet has a 25-30% chance to attract lightning and shock nearby fruits.	3.22%
Rainbow	This greatly increases the pet’s passive trait.	3.22%
Ascended	Every 360-300m, there’s a 75-90% chance that a nearby fruit will become Dawnbound.	0.32%
