Reach the campfire at the end of the fourth section. Note that your goal is the base entrance of the volcano, not the summit. |
Peak Badge |
Reach the peak. |
Ascend to the top of the final section. This area is known as the Kiln. |
Esoterica Badge |
Acquire a mystical item. |
This includes rare items such as the Fairy Lantern, Pandora’s Lunchbox, or Cursed Skull. The easiest approach is to activate an ancient statue near a campfire with all players present. Otherwise, these items are seldom found in luggage. |
Happy Camper Badge |
Earn 5 morale boosts from campfires. |
In multiplayer mode, being near an activated campfire will grant you a morale boost. You need to experience this five times. Since there are only four campfires per map, you will need a minimum of two journeys to complete this. |
First Aid Badge |
Heal friends for a total of 100 injury points in one expedition. |
Use bandages or med kits on another player to reduce their injuries. Since health numbers aren’t visible, you’ll have to estimate how much you need to heal. |
High Altitude Badge |
Climb a total of 5000m. |
Just keep climbing! |
Plunderer Badge |
Open 15 pieces of luggage in one expedition. |
Any luggage counts. In single-player, take your time to find as many as possible. In multiplayer, ask your friends if you can open any you find. |
Emergency Preparedness Badge |
Rescue an unconscious friend to prevent their death. |
If a player is hurt, use bandages or med kits. If they’re unconscious from poison, use an antidote or other anti-poison items. |
Arborist Badge |
Climb to the top of a large tree. |
Find the largest tree in the Tropics area and reach its highest point. You can use vines or nearby cliffs to assist you; you don’t need to scale the tree itself. |
Foraging Badge |
Consume 5 different berries during one expedition. |
Even though they look like fruit, many natural food options, like winterberries, crispberries, and berrynana, count as berries. Poisonous varieties also count for this challenge, though they’re not advisable to eat. |
Participation Badge |
Have a friend escape the island without you. |
An additional player needs to reach the peak and escape while you remain behind. |
Clutch Badge |
Revive 3 scouts in a single expedition. |
The simplest way is to have three friends deliberately die near the ancient statue at the end of an area, then revive them all. |
Cooking Badge |
Cook 20 meals at campfires. |
Just as stated. The fire on the plane at the start is perfect since there are plenty of coconuts to cook. |
Endurance Badge |
Climb 50m upward without touching the ground. |
This requires careful stamina management. Fill your reserve stamina and use special foods like Energy Drinks and Lollipops to maximize your climbing distance. |
Survivalist Badge |
Escape the island without losing consciousness. |
Avoid any damage, burns, frost, and poison all the way to the finish. There’s no specific strategy other than being extremely cautious. |
Animal Serenading Badge |
Play the bugle for a capybara. |
Take the bugle from the starting plane with you to the Alpine zone. There will be a hotspring with capybara there for you to play for. |
Bing Bong Badge |
Assist Bing Bong in escaping the island. |
Bing Bong is the stuffed toy found at the beginning. Keep it in your inventory or backpack until the end. Note that this badge isn’t visible on the accolades list, indicating it might be a hidden achievement. |
Toxicology Badge |
Recover 200 total poison with items. |
Antidotes, Fairy Lanterns, and other poison-eliminating items are effective. Keep in mind that achieving 200 might take more effort than expected, but you can accumulate it by interacting with poisonous plants in the Tropics, so gather enough items. |
Mentorship Badge |
Have a one-on-one encounter with the Scoutmaster. |
This means you need to SURVIVE the Scoutmaster. In multiplayer, he appears if a scout strays too far ahead of the group. In single-player, you can summon him by playing the Scoutmaster’s Bugle, which is a rare mystical item. |
Bouldering Badge |
Place 10 pitons. |
Find and use pitons. It’s that simple. You can achieve this over multiple sessions. |
Lone Wolf Badge |
Escape the island solo. |
It can be done with careful planning. The main hurdle is you cannot revive yourself if something goes wrong(and issues do occur). |
Speed Climber Badge |
Escape the island in under an hour. |
This is a challenging task that requires a blend of skill, luck, and good stamina management. If you encounter difficulties, wait a day for the island to change. |
Mycology Badge |
Consume four different non-toxic mushrooms in a single expedition. |
There are only four non-toxic mushrooms, so you need to locate all of them. A detailed guide is available to help you identify them. |
Balloon Badge |
Escape the island without sustaining fall damage. |
Take your time, climb down cliffs instead of jumping, and avoid hazards that cause knockback. |
Naturalist Badge |
Escape the island without consuming any packaged food. |
This will greatly limit your stamina reserves since only cooked wild food will provide you with any. However, it’s feasible if you’re patient and manage your health wisely. |
Gourmand Badge |
Escape the island after cooking and consuming a coconut half, a honeycomb, a yellow winterberry, and an egg. |
Coconuts can be found in the Shore area, honeycombs are from hives in the Tropics, yellow winterberries are present on capybaras in the Alpine zone, and eggs can be located in nests in the Caldera. The safest way to cook them is to carry them to the next bonfire. Eggs must either be brought back to an earlier campfire or cooked with lava (which is riskier but faster). |
Leave No Trace Badge |
Escape the island without leaving items on the mountain. |
This means you cannot use ropes, pitons, chains, or rope launchers. Using natural items like Shelf Fungus is allowed. |
Knot Tying Badge |
Use 100m of rope during a single expedition. |
Each rope is about 12m long, so you will need to find at least eight rope items and use them all. The main challenge is locating that much rope. |
Bookworm Badge |
Read all of Scoutmaster Myres’s journal entries. |
Look for a scroll near each campfire. Opening it reveals a journal page of the Scoutmaster. This is tied to progression, so you can find page one at the campfire following the shore, start a new game, and then find page 2 at the same spot. |
