It’s advisable to start collecting these items now so you’re prepared to level up her to the maximum and increase her talents once she becomes available. Zibai is a new Geo character set to arrive in Version 6.3, as teased by the developers at HoYoverse. Along with Columbina, she is expected to be one of the two new 5-star characters in this update, which is also expected to introduce the 4-star character Illuga.

HoYoverse hasn’t shared many details about Zibai yet, beyond her element, but leaks have given us a lot more information. According to the leaks about her kit in Genshin Impact Version 6.3, Zibai will serve as a main damage dealer on the battlefield. She will use new Lunar Crystallize reactions to deal extra damage and provide protection for her team.

This is the only item that cannot be farmed beforehand and will require waiting until the update drops.

One key resource for Zibai’s ascension is the Glaze Lily, which can only be gathered in Liyue. There are about 50 Glaze Lily nodes scattered across the region, but since you need 168 copies and these nodes regenerate every 48 hours, collecting enough can take some time. Most of these materials are farmed from Geo-related bosses like Geo Hypostasis, Azhdaha, and others. However, the Withered Remnant of the Nightmare Wing is dropped by the new boss Lord of the Hidden Depths, which will be introduced in Version 6.3, so you’ll need to wait for this update.

The Challenge with Boss Materials

Since the boss’s materials don’t drop Prithiva Topaz stones, you’ll need to farm the Withered Remnants from the new boss, which requires a bit of patience. To gather the necessary Warrant items used for talent upgrades, you will farm Fatui Oprichniki enemies found in Nod-Krai, with the help of the interactive maps.

Mora and Other Resources

Either way, expect to spend a lot of Mora—around 420,000 Mora for ascension, plus over 1.6 million Mora for talent level-ups. You can earn Mora from activities like Blossom of Wealth in Nod-Krai, where you might also encounter Fatui enemies.

Talent Materials for Zibai

You Can Collect These Materials Before Version 6.3

Zibai’s talents require several materials, including the old Talent books and special items like Crowns of Insight and the Ascended Sample: Queen, which drops from her weekly boss. The Talent books—Teachings, Guide, and Philosophies of Gold—can be farmed from the Taishan Mansion Domain on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. These are common in related character farming routes, so if you’ve farmed similar materials before, this will be familiar.

At higher talent levels, you will need the Ascended Sample: Queen, which is obtained from the weekly boss The Game Before The Gate. Since this is a rare drop, it might take some time to farm enough.

And to max out all talents to level 10, you’ll need three Crowns of Insight, which are limited and obtainable only during specific events or from specific shops like Paimon’s Bargains once a month. The total Mora needed for all talent upgrades is roughly 4.96 million.
