Every new Fortnite season introduces fresh and advanced mechanics, allowing players to explore their creativity on the battle royale map while facing opponents or teaming up with friends. With the launch of Chapter Six, the game has introduced Sprites.
The Air and Water Sprites are cute little beings, but the Earth Sprites have a unique look and don’t move around. You can find these Earth Sprites scattered throughout the battle royale map, and they behave differently than the others. Here’s everything you should know before you interact with the Earth Sprites.
Where to Find Earth Sprites
There are a total of twenty-two spawn points for Earth Sprites, but the spawn locations vary with each match, making it harder to find them. To maximize your chances, keep an eye out in these areas:
- North of Burd, just before Nightshift Forest
- North of Nightshift Forest, close to Twinkle Terrace
- West of Magic Moses
- East of Masked Meadows, across from Hopeful Heights
Earth Sprites tend to appear more frequently near forested areas.
What Do Earth Sprites Do?
In contrast to Air and Water Sprites, which can be exchanged at Sprite Shrines for boons and other items, Earth Sprites work differently. Players can use them to trade items.
To trade with Earth Sprites, hold the item they want and approach them closely until an interaction option appears. After a successful trade, the Earth Sprite will consume the item and reward you with a legendary weapon or other significant item. However, the Earth Sprites will temporarily become unavailable after a trade, and you’ll need to wait a bit before you can trade again.
Chapter Six, Season One of Fortnite introduced powerful new weapons to the battlefield. By using Earth Sprites, you can quickly gain access to a top-tier weapon.
