Sengoku Dynasty is a survival and crafting game that takes place during Japan’s feudal period. Your primary goal is to establish your legacy in the Nata Valley through unique projects, village building, accepting refugees, and fighting off hostile forces threatening the area.
As you work on your empire, it’s essential to keep yourself and your villagers well-nourished throughout the year. In the early stages, you can get by with raw ingredients, but as your community grows, you’ll need to enhance meal production by preparing nutritious dishes for everyone.
Cooking in Sengoku Dynasty
You can cook using any basic campfire or sunken hearth that you set up in your homes. Prepared meals significantly boost your hunger meter compared to raw components and improve your villagers’ food supply. Even simple items like cooked meat can vastly enhance your meal production.
As your village expands, the need for food will also rise. Eventually, basic dishes will no longer be sufficient, requiring you to transition to using a cooking pot and build a kitchen for creating more complex meals.
A kitchen establishes a dedicated cooking area where you can assign a villager to handle meal preparation. This setup allows for continuous dish production without requiring your constant attention, increasing your overall food output.
In the later stages of the game, you can also construct a tavern. This facility unlocks the ability to prepare even more sophisticated meals, and you can assign a villager to the large cooking pot in the tavern to automate the cooking process.
If you build a cooking station with a pot, you can also produce various beverages.
