The first part of the desert area in Where Winds Meet is the Jade Gate Pass. This lively spot is full of quests, camels, and enemies, which will keep you occupied for quite some time. Although you can run quickly in Where Winds Meet, your stamina limits how far you can go, so traveling across the map can become a bit frustrating.
Your fast-travel points are the Boundary Stones, which let you quickly move from one place to another, saving you time while waiting for your game to load. You can find their locations below to unlock them.
Jade Gate Pass Boundary Stones
The rough, sandy terrain of Jade Gate Pass makes moving around even more challenging than in earlier regions. Out of nowhere, sandstorms might roll in, and enemies can burst out of the ground, slowing you down. Unlocking and finding these Boundary Stones will help keep your journey smooth.
| Boundary Stone | Location | Description |

| Camel Station | Coming from the Wayfarer, head southeast along the glowing Milky Way Path, where you’ll see groups of camels. The Boundary Stone is nearby, amid the camels. | Located near the camels in the middle of the path. |
| Celestial Spring Station | Northwest of the Karez Wayfarer, at the end of the long Milky Way Path. | Near the path’s end, toward the northern side of the region. |
| Sanwei Valley | Directly north of the Celestial Spring Station, near the corner of the map. | Situated in Sanwei Valley, north of the previous stone. |
| Squarewall Hold Ruins | At the bottom of the map, near Ayisu and a Divecraft Corridor Puzzle entrance. Head south from the end of the Milky Way Path to find this one. | Found near the ruins, south of the main region. |
| Poplar Bazaar | To the west of the map, near the Momo Temple and nearby merchants. Further west, beyond the landmark, is where this Boundary Stone is located. | A common route for those working on the “Heal the Illness” Profession. |
| Horsehelm Village | Almost in the center, directly south of the Camel Station Boundary Stone, between two Milky Way Paths. It’s also southeast of Gold Sands River. | Positioned midway, accessible from two paths crossing the region. |
| Peaceward Camp | Northeast of Horsehelm Village, south of the “An Unsung Name” quest, nestled near the Milky Way Paths. | Near an ongoing quest location, east of Horsehelm Village. |
| Howling Sand Outpost | To the east of the region map, south of the actual Howling Sand Outpost. Beyond the Milky Way Path, southeast of Karez Wayfarer. | Located in the desert’s eastern section. |
| Waithridge Pass | Southeast of Peaceward Camp, near the exit into the Hexi area. This Boundary Stone is also close to a “Heal the Illness” Profession marker. | On the way out of the region heading toward Hexi. |
| Outside Whitecrown City | At the edge of the region, where you exit into the next zone (Hexi) and close to the Whitecrown City battle encounter. | Located at the boundary into the next region. |
| Shifting Sands | This is the hardest Boundary Stone to find. Once in this area, your map and tracker will be disabled. You’ll enter a sandstorm northeast of the Karez Wayfarer, where you must explore blindly. You’ll see fleeting signs like people and camels appearing and vanishing into gold flames — follow these signs and stay on course to locate the stone. | A tricky location requiring blind exploration amid the sandstorm. |
From the Boundary Stone, you have the option to face the Wandering Ark Boss Battle or simply avoid it for later.
