While fans have had some time to get familiar with Jahoda, one of the newer characters added in Genshin Impact’s Version 6.0 update—when the game introduced us to the Snezhnayan satellite region of Nod-Krai—we can now officially add her to our teams as she’s finally available on the banners.
This four-star bow user, who wields Anemo, was first shown in the 6.2 update for the Song of the Welkin Moon event. She works particularly well in Nod-Krai teams that benefit from Anemo’s elemental reactions, especially those that amplify Swirl damage. Here’s a guide on how to build Jahoda effectively.
Jahoda Overview and Constellations
Jahoda is a Nod-Krai native and an Anemo bow user. She was introduced in the storyline for the Song of the Welkin Moon before becoming available on the banners with the 6.2 update, featuring characters like Durin and Venti. She’s a solid choice not only for her Swirl damage but also for her healing capabilities. Her constellations notably upgrade both aspects significantly, particularly at levels C3 and C5.
If you plan to use the new Moonsign mechanic, Ascendant Gleam—activated when her Purr-loined Treasure Flask fills—Jahoda is almost essential. She has skills designed to support teams that are built around this mechanic.

Jahoda’s Talents and Priority
Her talent skills include:
- Normal Attack: “Strike while the Arrow’s Hot” — performs up to 3 shots with her bow, with charged shots dealing increased damage and AoE plunging attacks.
- Elemental Skill: “Savvy Strategy: Splitting the Spoils” — Jahoda dashes towards enemies, enters Shadow Pursuit, converting nearby Cryo/Electro/Hydro/Pyro to Anemo, and dealing damage on reactivation.
- Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam: When her Purr-loined Treasure Flask is full, she consumes the stored element gradually, firing Fluffy Meowballs that deal damage and regenerate energy.
- Elemental Burst: “Hidden Aces: Seven Tools of the Hunter” — summons two Purrsonal Coordinated Assistance Robots and deals Anemo damage.
Her passive skills enhance her damage and healing when certain conditions are met, especially with team compositions that include Cryo, Electro, Hydro, or Pyro characters.
Constellations
Upgrading her constellations boosts her overall utility:
- C1: Chance for Meowballs to bounce and hit nearby enemies.
- C2: Enables tracking of the second most numerous element among team members.
- C3: Increases talent level for “Hidden Aces.”
- C4: Recovery of Elemental Energy when robots undergo elemental conversion.
- C5: Boost to talent levels.
- C6: Enhances critical stats when Purr-loined Treasure Flask is full.
How to Use Jahoda
Jahoda works best as a sub-DPS, fitting smoothly into teams built around Ascendant Gleam mechanics and other Nod-Krai characters. Her skill set allows her to convert elemental resistances and boost Swirl reactions, making her especially effective when paired with characters who can capitalize on those reactions.
Most suitable weapons are bows like the Favonius Warbow or Aqua Simulacra, but many four-star options like the Snare Hook and Sacrificial Bow work well too, especially if you haven’t pulled the limited banners for five-star weapons. For artifacts, the Viridescent Venerer set is optimal for boosting Swirl damage, while the Silken Moon’s Serenade set benefits her if you’re leveraging Nod-Krai team synergy.
Best Team Comps for Jahoda
Jahoda pairs well with characters who can generate consistent Elemental Energy or benefit from her Swirl reactions. She synergizes notably with other Nod-Krai characters using Ascendant Gleam, and her damage output is amplified in teams that focus on elemental response and energy recharge.

This overview ensures you understand Jahoda’s role, talents, and how to build her effectively in your team.
