With the start of the first seasonal event for ARC Raiders, there are many new quests, map effects, and rewards just waiting for you. Since there’s so much new content coming before the game’s first big expedition, it’s easy to overlook some details—like the two new musical instruments now available.
While the ARC Raiders Flute was a fun way to make friends and sing for your teammates, you’ll now have the chance to create your own three-person band on the surface, once you complete a few challenges. Because the Guitar is quite rare, the best way to get these instruments is by finishing the new seasonal Easter egg on the Buried City map.
How to Complete the Buried City Puzzle Easter Egg
To do this Easter egg, you need to find and press 15 buttons spread across the Buried City in a specific order. The pattern is shown in the attached image. The buttons are in plain sight at each marked spot and have a large base with a prompt making them easy to spot. Be careful—pressing a button in the wrong order means starting all over again.
Tip:
You can complete this Easter egg on any type of Buried City map. To make it easier, avoid playing during the Snowfall event, as the weather can make navigation harder. The same goes for Night Raids, which can be dangerous—though darkness might sometimes help you hide from enemies.
Since you’ll be moving around a lot and between buildings, it’s recommended to carry plenty of Adrenaline Shots. They will help you travel faster and escape quickly if you get shot or spotted. Working with friends or even teaming up with random players can also help make sure everyone presses the buttons in the right sequence.
Rewards for Completing the Buried City Easter Egg
After pressing all 14 buttons in the correct order, you’ll find the final, 15th button next to a locked door. When pressed, fireworks will shoot out from the roof and the door will open, revealing all the musical goodies inside. The room is filled with legendary guitars, uncommon shakers, and even flutes—perfect for you and your friends to take back to Speranza.
Keep in mind that each instrument takes up a full inventory slot. So, during the hunt, avoid spending too much time looting to prevent getting caught off guard while managing your gear. Luckily, there’s an extraction point just outside the final button room, giving you a quick escape route before anyone else can chase after you and take your loot.
