The anticipation for the next wave of Pokémon has finally ended. Announced during the Pokémon Presents presentation on February 27, 2026—the franchise’s 30th anniversary—Pokémon Winds & Pokémon Waves introduce the tenth generation. These games are scheduled for release in 2027 exclusively on the Nintendo Switch 2.
Set in a vibrant, tropical-looking region, the games appear stunning and will feature many new Pokémon. Although information remains limited, we do know the starter Pokémon, and they are some of the most lively and expressive starters we’ve seen in a while. Updates will be added as more details about the new Pokémon become available, so stay tuned for the latest information!
