Digital Phablet – Egyptian media personality Wafaa El Kilani has separated from her husband, Syrian actor Taim Hassan, after nine years of marriage, reportedly due to a prediction made by an expert.
This news has caused a stir across social media platforms, particularly because neither party has issued an official statement confirming the breakup. The couple, which married in May 2017, has long been subjected to rumors regarding their separation.
It’s important to clarify that these reports are based on “forecasts,” with no official confirmation from either side. Despite speculation, Wafaa El Kilani has consistently handled such rumors with calm confidence, emphasizing that her personal life remains private and that her marriage remains strong despite the rumors.
Earlier, during the Joy Awards 2025, Kilani addressed the rumors, explaining that Hassan was absent due to work commitments. In another interview at the Arab Media Forum, she reaffirmed that their relationship continues to thrive, grounded in mutual understanding and support, and expressed her unwavering dedication to their partnership.
Their frequent appearances together at charitable and public events support a picture of a close-knit duo. For instance, they appeared side-by-side at the funeral of filmmaker Hatem Ali, a moment that reflected their genuine bond, far from the realm of rumors.
Since their marriage, Hassan and Kilani have exemplified a couple who value their privacy and are committed to balancing their professional and personal lives away from the public eye.
Wafaa Kilani has two children, Judy and Ryan, from her first marriage to Lebanese Tony Mikhail. She married Taim Hassan in 2017, but they have not had children together yet. Hassan has two sons, Ward and Fahd, from his previous marriage to artist Dima Bayaa.
