KARACHI – Aqsa Afridi, the oldest daughter of famous cricketer Shahid Afridi, and her husband Naseer Nasir have welcomed a baby girl into their family.
Shahid Afridi shared the happy news on social media, revealing that the baby was born on December 16. The couple has named their new daughter “Ayra.”
“Alhamdulillah, Allah has granted Aqsa and Naseer a beautiful baby girl. Daughters are a true reflection of His mercy and are one of life’s greatest blessings. Please keep us in your prayers,” Afridi wrote in a Facebook post, along with a photo of his granddaughter’s tiny feet.
Aqsa married Naseer Nasir in December 2022, and their wedding celebrations continued with a Rukhsati ceremony in July 2023. Earlier in August this year, Shahid Afridi’s daughter Ansha and fast bowler Shaheen Afridi celebrated the birth of their son.
