Los Angeles: Rap artist Kanye West and his wife, Bianca Censori, were removed from the 2025 Grammy Awards by law enforcement after an unexpected appearance on the red carpet.
According to a source from pagesix.com, the couple was escorted out due to “the outrageous outfit moment they attempted on the carpet,” which was described as an effort to mimic the cover art for West’s album ‘Vultures.’
The album cover for West’s 2024 release, “Vultures 1,” featured Censori posing backward, clad only in thigh-high boots and a scanty piece of fabric that covered her backside.
The couple notably adopted the same pose during their step-and-repeat at the event before departing.
After leaving the Crypto.com Arena, they were spotted climbing into a silver chrome vehicle.
A spokesperson for the Grammy Awards has yet to provide a comment regarding the incident.
Reports from various media outlets indicate that the couple was invited to attend the ceremony, as West had received a nomination for Best Rap Song.
He was hoping to win his 25th Grammy for his collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign on the track “Carnival.”
However, the award ultimately went to Kendrick Lamar for his popular track “Not Like Us,” which features a diss directed at Drake.
Despite the evening not ending as they hoped, West and Censori made quite a statement on the red carpet. Censori donned a fully transparent dress paired with clear heels and opted to forgo jewelry. The daring mini dress, seemingly crafted from sheer fabric, left little to the imagination, and she discarded her oversized black fur coat while posing for photos.
Meanwhile, West chose an all-black ensemble but added a hint of glam with a sparkling pendant necklace and diamond grills.
This event marked West’s return to the Grammy Awards after a decade; his last appearance was in 2015.
