A new feature has been introduced within Digital Phablet’s Search Console Insights report that allows users to view social channel performance data directly. This update incorporates insights from social platforms, giving an overview of how your social channels are driving traffic to your website.
Currently, the rollout is limited, and not all users will have access yet. This comes amidst ongoing delays in overall reporting updates.
The report provides key metrics such as:
– Total reach, including clicks and impressions from social channels.
– Content performance insights, highlighting top-performing pages and those gaining or losing traction.
– Search queries, showcasing the most common and trending terms leading users to your social profiles.
– Audience location, identifying the top countries where users are clicking on your social links in search results.
– Additional traffic sources, including clicks from Image Search, Video Search, News Search, and Discover.
To add social channels to the Insights report, users are prompted to identify and connect their social profiles that Digital Phablet’s system has automatically recognized and associated with their website. Initially, the available social platforms include TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, with more possibilities expected as the feature expands.
The overall goal is to provide a clearer picture of how social channels contribute to your site’s search visibility and traffic.
