Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 invites players into a detailed and vibrant world, filled with a wide range of missions, from complex side quests to crucial plot-driven tasks. Many of these missions necessitate strategic thinking, thorough exploration, and important choices that influence the game’s progression and endings. Throughout the adventure, players will assist locals, confront foes, and unravel various enigmas.
One notable quest is the Voivode’s Curse, where players must lift a curse placed upon the Voivode. To achieve this, they must craft a unique weapon and make challenging choices that will ultimately determine the quest’s direction.
How to Begin the Voivode’s Curse Quest
After you have finished the Miri Fajta side quest with the Voivode in the Nomad’s Camp located in the Trosky area, wait a few in-game days, then talk to Herbalist Aranka in the camp.
Inquire if she has any work for you, and she will reveal that the Voivode is under a curse. You’ll need to forge a special sabre to break it.
Henry, our brave protagonist, will gladly accept the task, initiating the Voivode’s Curse quest.
How to Create the Sabre
The sabre you need to forge is called Rikonaris’ sabre, and you will receive the crafting recipe automatically, along with Charcoal Water.
To complete the forging process, you’ll need the following materials:
Head over to Tachov village and find a blacksmith there. Once you enter his shop, purchase all the necessary materials.
When you have everything you need, go to the anvil and select Rikonaris’ sabre to begin the forging process.
This process is similar to any sword forging. You will temper the metal, hammer it, and continue until Henry indicates that it’s complete.
How to Finish the Voivode’s Curse Quest
However, simply forging the sabre is not enough for Aranka, as she will ask you to use it to kill a dog.
The idea of harming a dog is not pleasant, so instead, return to the Nomad’s camp and talk to Aranka at her usual place. Hand over the sabre and tell her that you’ve already killed a dog.
She will accept your story without question, allowing you to proceed with the quest.
Once the conversation concludes, the Voivode’s Curse quest will be complete, and you will be rewarded with the Vagrant Hat and some Groschen.
