The Pixel Fold, Google's first foldable phone, has been unveiled

Google's Pixel Fold marks the company's first foray into the foldable smartphone market, previously controlled by Huawei, Samsung, and other manufacturers.

The phone has a sizable, folding screen that can be opened to resemble a tablet.

When fully opened, the Pixel Fold's screen reaches 7.6 inches, making it bigger than most other folding smartphones.

With Google's Android operating system at its core; the Pixel Fold will undoubtedly contain various new features and improvements.

A High-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, also present in some of the current premium smartphones, is set up in the phone.

The Pixel Fold is slated to go on sale in May 2023. However, the actual date and selling price have yet to be made public.

The arrival of Google in the foldable smartphone industry is anticipated to increase manufacturer rivalry and spur additional innovation.

With the Pixel Fold, Google claims to have addressed these issues and that the screen is extremely durable and impervious to cracks and other breakage.

Since the stylus is a special function not seen on many other smartphones, the phone is further anticipated to attract those who want to sketch or make notes on their smartphone.

The entry of Google into the folding smartphone business is an initiative of the business's larger goal to increase the variety of products it offers and take on Apple and other tech behemoths.
