Fossil Launched Fossil Hybrid Smartwatch For $195

Fossil officially unveiled its very first Fossil hybrid smartwatch, logically named Fossil Hybrid HR. It has the advantage of having real needles in addition to a screen in electronic ink.

Mid-September, we discovered in some online shops a mysterious watch under the brand Fossil. It was a hybrid watch that had not been announced yet and could have prompted Google to buy part of the manufacturer.

The officialization finally arrived this Wednesday. Fossil has indeed unveiled its Fossil Hybrid HR. As you might expect with this name, the watch is indeed hybrid, with an electronic ink screen in addition to watching hands, but it also offers heart rate analysis.

Fossil Smartwatch Specs

Specifically, the Fossil Hybrid HR does not offer all the features of Google’s Wear OS service but takes over part of its interface. The one-inch-diameter screen can be used to get an overview of notifications, weather conditions, heart rate or sports activity tracking. For their part, the hands simply allow displaying the time. The advantage of this design is that the watch, even screens off, does not display a black screen, but can tell the time.

The other interest is to propose a long autonomy of at least two weeks to believe the manufacturer. Note that the Fossil watch also allows sleep analysis, music control, alarm, and timer and offers a full charge in 60 minutes.
