Coinbase Visa Debit Card has been launched and this is the first-ever Visa card that is supporting Cryptocurrencies, previously PayPal also enables support for Bitcoin.

– Users will be able to send and receive cryptocurrency from all around the world.
– Users will be able to earn rewards for spending from their Visa Debit Card.
– The card will support 30 currencies all around the world including the Cryptocurrency.

US customers can now get the Coinbase Visa Debit Card and use a Debit Visa card which lets the customers spend cryptocurrency anywhere, As declared by Coinbase. Visa cards can be used and it was claimed by Coinbase that it is the fastest and the simplest way to spend crypto worldwide. Earlier the card was only accessible in Europe.

All around the world, there are plenty of Debit cards that lets you spend cryptocurrency (you will soon be able to use with Paypal as well) but for most of the platforms, it is essential to load some funds onto the card before spending them.

Coinbase removes the middleman, Rather than taking funds directly from your Coinbase account. The Coinbase cards support more than 30 currencies, while other cards only allow one or a few currencies. Before completing purchases and ATM withdrawals the Coinbase converts everything into US dollars. 

For US customers, there is an optional reward program for now. You can select to earn 1 percent back in bitcoin and 4 percent return from Stellar Lumen. It does not include any issuance fees but cryptocurrency fees may be applied according to Coinbase. (and those can be steep).

Sign in with your Coinbase account

Initiate a request for Coinbase Card (Visa Debit)

Your card will arrive in a few days

You will be able to keep records of recent agreements and reward earnings through the Coinbase app. You will be able to manage your rewards currency there and also the currency your spending with.

When the transaction, You will not need to break down your cryptocurrency before spending them in-store Coinbase will do that for you. You can select between all your cryptocurrencies for your latest agreements in the app.

On top of that, there are also some ATM limits and transaction fees but a couple of customers may focus on convenience. A debit card is much more convenient than a bitcoin wallet whenever you want to shop in-store.

Per transaction the service will charge USD$2.49 fee. 1.49% conversion fee in every transaction.
