Who won the US election 2020? Facebook, Instagram to Notify the winner

Who won the US election 2020? It has been planned by Facebook to notify the name of the US presidential election winner on the top of Facebook and Instagram as it has been decided by a high number of media outlets said the company.

According to a Facebook spokesperson Tom Reynolds, the company will also be labeling presidential candidates’ posts with a link to its voting information center.

It has been planned by the company to view the candidates’ names in the notification on the top of Facebook and Instagram which will say that the presidential winner has been selected _ is the selected winner of the 2020 US Presidential Election as described by Reynolds through an email to Digital Phablet.

Reynold declared that Facebook will be depending upon the high number of opinions from Reuters also independent decision desks at major media outlets which comprises CBS News, ABC News, NBC News, Fox News, and the Associated press to decide when a presidential winner is selected.

Reynold stated On Thursday, As ballot-counting in different key states, Facebook has seen many wrong claims regarding the elections. Reynold told that many claims on the platform have low engagement. As discussed earlier, we are taking additional temporary steps to make sure that this content is reaching more people. Reynold further says that the live videos on Facebook are also being limited regarding the elections and involving downgrade content which the systems observe as misinformation and debunked claims related to voting.

Earlier Facebook declared some steps it will make after 3rd November to neglect the misinformation on its platforms. The US-based political ads are banned and some political-related ad sales are also frozen before the elections. The false claimed victories are also banned. Facebook took over a group of 300,000 people on Thursday over worrying calls for violence from members of the groups and many of the hashtags were blocked regarding the false claims about elections.
