WhatsApp To Delete Accounts After 15 May If You Don’t Agree to New Terms

WhatsApp to delete accounts as well as will disable messages for those users who are not accepting their new terms of services. These users will not be able to receive or send messages.

The accounts will become “Inactive” after the date and will be permanently deleted after 120 days. Furthermore, these users can receive the call but the rest of the features will be completely disabled.

The new privacy policy of WhatsApp caused over 33 million to switch to Signal and Telegram after the new updates come back in January 2021.

The most disappointing part is where Facebook will be indirectly stealing data from WhatsApp users. A great number of users are still leaving the platform due to forced Terms of Services.

WhatsApp’s alternatives, Telegram and Signal have been seeing great demand as the download number continuously grows.

New terms of WhatsApp includes live tracking of IPs of the users and the location data.
