Facebook To Launch Clubhouse App Competitor

Recently the clubhouse rose to fame after the CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg and Tesla’s Elon musk showed up on the social media platform having almost 4.7 million downloads as of this time based on Apptopias count via Axios.

Facebook is currently working on Clubhouse App competitor and will release soon;

Facebook is now setting its sights on cloning the startup service.

This app allows you to chat with people all over the world having the same interest.

The New York Times reported that the social media giant is reportedly in the starting phase of creating a viral clubhouse with global replicating its core features. The clubhouse is technically an audio-based chat service on iOS where people can join group voice chat or create chat rooms.

With these group chats’ help, thousands of people can participate or listen to discussions going on various topics. Since it’s still in the beta clubhouse is invite-only, it makes it less accessible to everyone.

Right now, it’s still not clear what Facebook version of the service will be called and whether it could take the chance of standalone app instead of a new feature that will be baked into its called for other subsidiary apps. Still, Facebook is not the only social media with the release of the clubhouse.

Late last year, on iOS, Twitter started testing its own audio chat platform called spaces. Moreover, recently announced that an Android version is also being created.

Even at an early age, Facebook has never been shy at cloning services, giving users transactions. A motion was made by Facebook where Instagram copied the Snapchat stories feature. Most recently, it has also launched Instagram reels, which are similar to TikTok. The tech giants increasing interest in this type of social interaction marks the developing importance of social audio. But it still seems to have remained whether this trend will be sustained in the long term.
