Donald Trump, First President Who Got Banned On Social Media

Donald Trump has been banned from almost all social media, including his campaign account have also been banned after the Capitol incident.

Twitter Inc has permanently banned the President of US Donald Trump’s account to reduce the risk of further incitement of violence followed by the US Capitol’s storming by his supporters.

Donald Trump posted messages on social media platforms that supported violent protestors at the US Capitol. So the media companies have temporarily banned Trump’s account.

The CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, stated that the ban on the US president’s account would be further extended indefinitely until the President-elect Joe Buden’s inauguration on January 20.

According to a Twitter spokesman, The US President removed his posts on Thursday that led to his account’s temporary suspension.

The post violated the policies and required the posts to be deleted by President before getting access to his account, as said by Twitter.

The tweets of the President resulted in the banning of his account.

After his account was unbanned, the US president finally acknowledged President Joe Biden’s victory and criticized his supporters on Wednesday, who stormed Capitol Hill.

In the US Capitol, some Armed protesters broke. They forced the chamber to halt the ongoing vote to certify Biden’s election win.

After some months of refusing to accept his defeat in the election of November 3, the President caused violence in the Capitol, calling on his supporters to fight like hell.

He released a video on Twitter by White House where he was outraged by Wednesday’s violent attack. This moment calls for healing and reconciliation.

He further stated that there would be an orderly transition on January 20 for Biden’s new administration.
