Alongside the launch of the new iPhone 17 series, iPhone Air, and other devices, Apple introduced an extensive lineup of fresh accessories, spanning both its own brand and Beats. Here’s a comprehensive overview of what’s new.
Apple has continued its tradition of offering silicone cases since 2013, and this year is no exception. The new Apple Silicone Cases are compatible with all three iPhone 17 models and are priced uniformly at $49. Additionally, they now support the new Crossbody Strap feature. Apple has also expanded the color options for the iPhone 16e Silicone Case, adding a vibrant Neon Yellow for $39.
The updated Apple TechWoven Case, exclusive to the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, is crafted from a custom woven fabric made entirely from recycled polyester. This material creates a textured appearance with rich color depth, thanks to multi-colored yarns woven together on a Jacquard loom. The sides of the case are coated with textured TPU for improved grip, and refined anodized aluminum buttons ensure precise responsiveness. The price for this case is $59, and it supports the Crossbody Strap.
In a nostalgic nod, Apple has revived the Bumper Case designed specifically for the iPhone Air. This slim, lightweight protective cover is made from reinforced polycarbonate, offering excellent edge protection. It features a new button design for crisp feedback and highlights the phone’s slim profile, retailing at $39.
Apple has also launched a translucent Clear Case for the iPhone Air, optimized to complement its ultra-thin form. This case, just 0.9 mm thick, is reinforced with a polycarbonate frame and sports a lightly frosted interior and high-gloss exterior finish. It is designed to safeguard the device from scratches and drops and is compatible with MagSafe.
Beyond cases, Apple has introduced additional accessories this season. Among them, Beats has expanded its lineup with several new models. One notable offering is a simple case compatible with MagSafe and Camera Control for the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone Air, priced at $45.
The Beats Kickstand Case adds a magnetic kickstand and a removable wrist lanyard, providing enhanced functionality. It supports MagSafe and Camera Control and is available for $59 for iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro models.
For those seeking maximum protection, the new Beats Rugged Case is designed to withstand drops and scratches. It features impact-absorbing sidewalls, a textured matte exterior for better grip, and includes MagSafe and Camera Control support. Priced at $79, it offers robust defense for the latest iPhones.
While Apple’s new range of accessories is impressive, several third-party brands also offer excellent alternatives. Consumers can explore a variety of stylish and protective options from other manufacturers to customize their iPhone experience.
