During this simulated usage test, Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra, a large flagship device, lasted just under 12 hours at 11 hours and 58 minutes. By contrast, the iPhone 17 Pro Max astonishingly endured for approximately 13 hours before shutting down.

Notably, the base iPhone 17 also came close to matching the battery life of the previous generation’s Pro Max.
