The release of the iPhone 17, along with the iPhone 17 Pro, Pro Max, and iPhone Air, is scheduled for tomorrow, September 19. Apple has started informing early pre-order customers that their devices are now on the way, with some showing as shipped on their order status updates.
Customers who pre-ordered the iPhone 17 or iPhone Air might notice their orders reflect a ‘Shipped’ status.
Reports indicate that the Apple Store online is updating order statuses to indicate shipments for select buyers.
You can verify your purchase status either through the Apple website or the Apple Store app. If your order has been shipped, it will display a ‘Shipped’ label, or it may still appear as ‘Preparing to Ship,’ which signifies it’s in the final stages before dispatch.
A broader view of the iPhone 17 lineup is visible in the latest image, showcasing the various models available.
Even if your order currently states ‘Preparing to Ship,’ it does not necessarily mean it won’t arrive on the expected date. Apple often keeps this status until very close to the official release, but shipments are likely underway behind the scenes.
