The Xiaomi Mi Vacuum Cleaner G10 is the latest addition to the Chinese giant that, like no other company, diversifies its production a lot, from smartphones to pencils passing through devices dedicated to daily cleaning. The G10 has several strengths from its side: a digital motor capable of reaching 125,000 rpm assisted by 12 cyclones, a battery with 7 cells, and 3000 mAh capable of ensuring up to 60 minutes of autonomy and many accessories.
Xiaomi, however, has an advantage on its side that should not be underestimated: the price. Although the threshold of 1000 euros has been exceeded with smartphones, the brand is still extremely aggressive in the other sectors. The Xiaomi Vacuum Cleaner G10 has a price list of 299.99 euros, but it can be easily found online for between 250 and 270 euros.

Let’s start immediately with the main news of the Xiaomi Mi Vacuum Cleaner G10, including the display in the back. It is a small TFT panel with excellent definition. It allows you to view various information, including the cleaning mode chosen (Eco, High Consumption, and Standard) and the remaining autonomy. Unlike some competitors, the remaining cleaning minutes are not indicated, but a bar changes color as the battery runs out. However, it is a good indication to know how long to go before running dry. The menus can be configured in 11 languages, including Italian.
The assembly and the materials are excellent. The white plastic with which the Xiaomi Vacuum Cleaner G10 is made gives a nice feeling of durability, even if we would have preferred a greater grip on the handle. In fact, in some situations, it can be a bit slippery.
The tank has a capacity of 0.6 liters, in line with most devices of this type. The HEPA filter capable of capturing even particles down to 0.3 micrometers is removable and washable to guarantee a long life.
How To Use?

We recommend using the Standard (automatic) mode in everyday use, as it is the one that allows you to get the best compromise between cleaning and autonomy.
Xiaomi Vaccum Cleaner claims about 60 minutes in Eco mode or 10 minutes in maximum mode. The automatic mode in real use allows for a duration between 30 and 40 minutes, depending on the surfaces and conditions of use—more than enough for an apartment with a floor area of about 120 square meters.
Fully charging the battery takes 2.5 hours, two hours less than the Dyson V11. The battery can also be removed via a button and replaced with a spare second, which we recommend purchasing in the case of extensive surfaces or multi-level homes.
The weight of the motor and tank assembly is just under 1.7 kilograms and does not exceed 2.5 kilograms with an extension tube and multi-surface brush. This makes the use of the vacuum cleaner quite easy, especially when you have to reach difficult or high points. Ergonomics is also facilitated by the button that allows you to enable the continuous mode. In this way, we are not obliged to hold the trigger down to suck, allowing for a more comfortable grip.
Xiaomi G10 vs Dyson V11
Given the overlapping performance and specifications, it is more than legitimate to ask whether the Xiaomi G10 or the Dyson V11 is worth buying. The technologies used and the impressions of use make the two vacuum cleaners very similar, and the details can only influence the choice. The design and the white color make Xiaomi G10 more anonymous than the more muscular and flashy Dyson but still adaptable in any domestic context, even better if devoted to minimalism.
On the assembly and coupling systems side, the quality is high in both cases. Still, it must be considered that the Dyson V11 Absolute Extra Pro offers a wider range of accessories, which makes the vacuum cleaner more versatile in case you have a great variety of surfaces to clean. The Dyson V11 may be preferable in homes with parquet floors, given the presence of a brush dedicated to this type of surface.
It is almost impossible to notice perceptible differences on the suction side, at least with traditional use. The Xiaomi G10 is slightly less powerful, but it is slightly noisier than the Dyson V11 for the same mode of use. As far as autonomy is concerned, there are no differences. The ease with which accessories and spare parts can be found should be evaluated for the choice.
On the other hand, if you consider the price, there is an absolute winner. The Xiaomi G10 costs less than half of the various bundles available for the Dyson V11. There are no real perceptible differences between the two vacuum cleaners in the case of a medium-sized apartment or a small family.

The 299.99 euros requested are more than justified for the type of product, and if we think about the offers to which Xiaomi devices are subject, it becomes even more captivating.
The quality, price, and performance ratio are enviable and difficult to reach for many other competitors. We would have liked a floor cleaning accessory implemented in a better way and a little more useful than what we found and a slightly more comfortable ergonomics in the handle area.
