After a two-year wait, the moment has arrived.
The much-anticipated second season of 1923 kicks off this weekend. Season 2, episode 1, titled The Killing Season, is set to debut at 12 AM ET on Sunday, February 23, 2025. Fans can catch the new episodes streaming exclusively on . The streaming service offers two subscription options: Paramount+ Essential for $8 a month, and Paramount+ with Showtime for $13 a month.
This season of 1923 will feature a total of eight episodes, releasing weekly each Sunday night.

Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren reprise their roles as Jacob and Cara Dutton, the proprietors of the Dutton Ranch in Montana. Unfortunately for them, conflict has erupted as affluent businessmen plot to take their land by force. As Jacob and Cara prepare to safeguard their family’s legacy, their son, Jacob (played by Brandon Sklenar), hastens home to join the fray.

Season 2 of 1923 features a strong ensemble cast, including Julia Schlaepfer as Alexandra, Jerome Flynn as Banner Creighton, Darren Mann as Jack Dutton, Brian Geraghty as Zane Davis, Aminah Nieves as Teonna Rainwater, Michelle Randolph as Elizabeth “Liz” Strafford, Sebastian Roché as Father Renaud, Timothy Dalton as Donald Whitfield, and Jennifer Carpenter as Mamie Fossett.
Created by Taylor Sheridan, the talented showrunner behind several successful shows on Paramount+, such as Landman, Tulsa King, Lioness, Mayor of Kingstown, and Lawmen: Bass Reeves, 1923 serves as a prequel to the acclaimed series Yellowstone, which concluded its fifth season recently on the Paramount Network. Sheridan’s other project, The Madison, starring Michelle Pfeiffer, is anticipated to premiere later this year on Paramount+. Additionally, another Yellowstone spinoff featuring Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser is currently in the works.
