(UPDATE) WhatsApp Down Worldwide

WhatsApp was down in Several parts of the world, including the United Kingdom, was experiencing an outage of WhatsApp.

Earlier this morning, Around 8 am UK time, DownDetector, a service that monitors mobile and broadband networks as well as social media platforms, reported problems with the service.

In the meantime, WhatsApp’s own Twitter account has not made any mention of the issue or provided any indication as to when things are expected to return to normal.

WhatsApp’s blog is similarly silent on the matter, with its most recent posting dated 9 August 2022.
