cPanel Increases Licensing Cost: cPanel is increasing their prices, which could lead web hosting providers to increase the prices of their subscription by 40%.

No matter what web hosting you are on, you will be hit by a major price change by the end of 2020 as cPanel is scheduled to increase prices from 1st January 2021.

Digital Phablet reached out to cPanel and they have confirmed that they’re moving from bundle to account-based subscription. Previously, a single license would be able to handle 5 websites and from January 1, 2021, a single website would use the single website at a similar cost.

cPanel is a famous control panel, that is mostly used by Shared Hosting providers, that means people with shared hosting will get hit by a high price rise by the start of December 2020.

This will also apply to the people using cPanel on their VPS and Dedicated Server hosting, including the resellers.
