Vought Rising has expanded its cast for the prequel series of The Boys.
According to Deadline, Vought Rising has welcomed Elizabeth Posey to a prominent role. Will Hochman is also joining the cast, as reported by Variety. Character details for both actors have not yet been revealed.
The new additions will join a cast that includes Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy and Aya Cash as Stormfront. Both Ackles and Cash are also producers on Vought Rising.
Posey gained recognition for her role as Becky on Euphoria before appearing in the wrestling drama Heels. Hochman recently played Joe Hill in the CBS series Blue Bloods.
Vought Rising was officially unveiled during the 2024 San Diego Comic-Con and will delve into Vought’s origins set in the 1950s. The series is described as a “twisted murder mystery” featuring Soldier Boy and Stormfront, who was previously known as Clara Vought.
Paul Grellong will act as the showrunner and executive producer. Eric Kripke, the creator of The Boys, will also serve as an executive producer alongside Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Ori Marmur, Pavun Shetty, Ken Levin, Jason Netter, Garth Ennis, Darick Robertson, and Michaela Starr.

Based on the comic series by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, The Boys follows a group of vigilantes who strive to expose the corruption of superheroes, known as “Supes,” and their employer, Vought International. The Emmy-nominated series has run for four seasons on Prime Video, with the fifth and final season set to debut in 2026.
Vought Rising marks the latest in the expanding universe of The Boys. Gen V, focusing on young superheroes at the Godolkin University School of Crimefighting, is scheduled for its second season premiere in 2025. Additionally, The Boys Presents: Diabolical, an animated series, premiered in 2022, while The Boys: Mexico is currently in development with producers Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal.
