Verizon Launches Three-Year Price Lock Amid Rising Costs

Everywhere you look, prices for goods and services are on the rise. In response, Verizon has introduced a new initiative aimed at easing this financial strain: a three-year price lock for both new and existing customers that guarantees your monthly bill will remain the same for the next three years. This offer is applicable to both mobile and home service plans, and it includes a new phone for everyone who enrolls.

“Our goal is to provide our customers with what they desire and need, offering increased control, value, and simplicity,” stated Sowmyanarayan Sampath, CEO of Verizon Consumer. “That’s why we’re excited to unveil this groundbreaking guarantee: a three-year price lock across mobile and home plans, ensuring peace of mind, along with a complimentary device with every myPlan, amplifying the value for customers.”

Current customers, as well as newcomers, will automatically benefit from this three-year price lock on their myPlan and myHome service options. This initiative is one of the first of its kind within the mobile sphere; although there have been fixed-rate plans in the past, few have offered a full 36-month guarantee, let alone include a new phone with registration. To qualify, all you need to do is trade in your old device, provided it’s from Apple, Google, or Samsung. Unfortunately, users with OnePlus phones will not be eligible.

If you’re subscribed to myHome, you will also receive the necessary routers at no extra charge.

In addition to these benefits, Verizon has launched a free satellite texting service for select devices available to all myPlan customers. Currently, this feature is only functional on the Samsung Galaxy S25 and Google Pixel 9 series, but Verizon intends to extend support to a broader range of compatible devices soon.

Subscribers can also take advantage of various perks, including discounts of up to 40% on specific streaming subscriptions and an additional $15 off their bill each month when bundling myPlan and myHome services.
