Urbanista Lowers Price on Updated Copenhagen Earbuds

Swedish lifestyle audio brand Urbanista has refreshed its Copenhagen wireless earbuds with new features, but the most noteworthy update is their price. The Copenhagen 2 is priced at just $49, which is $20 less than the original model. These earbuds will be available for purchase starting November 13 in three stylish colors: black, lavender, and white.

While many manufacturers focus on enclosed, silicone-tipped designs, the semi-open structure of the Copenhagen 2—similar to Apple’s AirPods 4—remains popular. Many users prefer this shape for its comfort and the ability to remain aware of their surroundings.

The design of the Copenhagen 2 remains consistent with the previous version, although some internal specifications have been enhanced. The latest model now supports Bluetooth multipoint connectivity, allowing for simultaneous connections to two devices. With Bluetooth 5.4, you can expect improved wireless performance and stability.

Battery life has been increased slightly; Urbanista claims the earbuds provide up to seven hours of playback on a single charge, with an overall total of 36 hours when including the charging case. This is an improvement from the earlier model, which offered a total of 32 hours.

The Copenhagen 2 includes four microphones for clear calling, along with three equalizer presets that can be accessed through touch controls: a Default setting for natural sound, a Bass Boost option for enhanced low frequencies, and a Treble Boost for greater high-frequency clarity.

Most other features remain unchanged from the previous version, such as USB-C charging, an IPX4 rating for water resistance, voice assistant compatibility, and customizable touch controls via the Urbanista app.

However, it’s worth noting that the Copenhagen 2 does not include a charging cable—similar to a recent trend among companies, like Apple, which no longer provides charging cables with its AirPods. The key difference here is the price point; while Apple’s entry-level AirPods cost $129, the Copenhagen 2 is available for under $50.
