In the official trailer for MobLand, Tom Hardy portrays a fixer who discovers the dangers of crossing his employer’s family. This upcoming crime series is set to debut on Paramount+.
Pierce Brosnan takes on the role of Conrad Harrigan, the head of a ruthless crime family based in London. “When someone forgets their place, I have a man for that,” Conrad asserts, before the footage transitions to Hardy’s character, Harry Da Souza, who serves as the Harrigan family’s fixer. Conrad also refers to his wife Maeve (played by Helen Mirren) as the most “dangerous” member of the family.
The Harrigan family finds themselves embroiled in a violent conflict with their adversaries, the Stevenson family. Caught in the crossfire, Harry’s loyalties are pushed to the limit in this turf war. “Power is a greedy beast, and there’s always someone looking to snatch what’s mine,” Conrad warns just as the gritty action kicks off.
MobLand boasts a stellar cast that includes Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Geoff Bell, Daniel Betts, Lisa Dwan, and Emily Barber.
This series was initially conceived as The Donovans, a spin-off from Ray Donovan that delved into the family’s London backstory. However, the connection to Ray Donovan was ultimately dropped, leading to the creation of this independent crime drama.

Guy Ritchie serves as an executive producer for MobLand. He is well-known for his crime films, including Snatch, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and The Gentlemen. Ritchie has also adapted The Gentlemen into a television series for Netflix, which premiered in March 2024 and has already been renewed for a second season.
Ronan Bennett, who is also among the executive producers, has gained recognition for his work on The Day of the Jackal, which recently concluded its first season as Peacock’s most-watched drama. The series has been picked up for a second season as well.
Viewers can catch the premiere of MobLand on Sunday, March 30, exclusively on Paramount+.
