The Four Horsemen are back for another round of daring heists in Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, and this time they’re welcoming some new talent into the mix.
The opening of the trailer for this third installment shows J. Daniel Atlas (Jesse Eisenberg) going solo without his usual crew. Atlas mentions, “Things got too real for them.” He enlists three fresh magicians to join him: Charlie (Justice Smith), Bosco (Dominic Sessa), and June (Ariana Greenblatt).
Atlas has set his sights on the Heart Diamond, regarded as the most precious jewel ever. To seize the diamond, he needs to outsmart Veronika Vanderberg (Rosamund Pike), a jeweler who caters to shady characters like warlords and arms dealers. When complications arise during the heist, his former teammates—Jack Wilder (Dave Franco), Henley Reeves (Isla Fisher), and Merritt McKinney (Woody Harrelson)—come to the rescue.
Guided by Thaddeus Bradley (Morgan Freeman), this new team of illusionists aims to dismantle a criminal empire spanning two generations in one seamless move. “Eight magicians against a global criminal syndicate,” June quips in the scenes. “I like our odds.”

To celebrate the trailer launch, Lionsgate surprised residents in Times Square by distributing $250,000 in digital payments. A digital billboard displayed the message “Now you see me,” along with a countdown and a phone number, encouraging people to call or text for a surprise. Once the countdown concluded, the billboard switched to “Now you don’t,” unveiling the trailer and instant cash prizes courtesy of The Horsemen.
Ruben Fleischer takes the director’s seat for Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, with a screenplay crafted by Seth Grahame-Smith, Michael Lesslie, Paul Wernick, and Rhett Reese, and a story by Eric Warren Singer.
This film marks the third entry in the franchise, following Now You See Me in 2013 and Now You See Me 2 in 2016. Together, the first two movies have amassed over $686 million globally. Lionsgate is eager for more, as a fourth installment is already in the works.
Now You See Me: Now You Don’t is set to hit theaters on November 14.
