Qatar is blocking Roblox over child safety fears following social media demands for action, per The Peninsula Qatar.

Roblox remains downloadable via app stores but fails at launch in Qatar, showing “No Network” errors; its web version also displays “This site can’t be reached.”

Ooni reported “access anomalies” for Roblox in Qatar starting August 13, 7:32 AM. Qatar hasn’t officially confirmed the restriction.

Roblox, a virtual world platform, faces criticism from child safety advocates for exposing minors to inappropriate content and exploitation. China, Turkey, and Oman have already blocked access.
