More than 40 Chinese and international companies specializing in embodied artificial intelligence, including AgiBot, Kepler Robot, and Fourier, displayed over 100 robotic products at the inaugural Robot Town. This event took place during the 2025 Inclusion Conference on the Bund in Shanghai, held from September 10 to 13. The conference partnered with the Zhangjiang Robotics Valley, Caohejing Hi-Tech Park, Silicon Valley of the University of Science and Technology of China, and the Chengdu Humanoid Robot Innovation Center to establish the first-ever Robot Town.
AgiBot’s humanoid robot YuanZheng A2 performed a traditional Chinese drum. The robot features a humanoid, technologically advanced appearance with natural interaction details. It supports multi-modal communication, can converse with users using an ultra-human-sounding voice, and produces realistic human movements in real time.
A visitor presented a bouquet to Kepler’s K2 Bumblebee humanoid robot. Standing at 175 centimeters tall and weighing 75 kilograms, K2 Bumblebee can operate for eight hours on a single one-hour charge. Its arms work together to easily carry objects weighing up to 30 kilograms.
Visitors examined Ruina, a hyper-realistic, expressive humanoid robot developed by Shanghai Droid Robotics. Ruina leverages advanced humanoid and expression simulation technologies, with highly realistic skin and extensive expression capabilities. It is equipped with intelligent voice interaction and eye-tracking functionalities.
Attendees enjoyed a soccer match between a bipedal robot from High Torque and a humanoid robot from Unitree Robotics. Additionally, a visitor tried out a massage and physiotherapy robot developed by VSTC.
