Qatar has denounced the airstrike as reckless and illegal, condemning it as a dangerous provocation that threatens regional peace. Saudi Arabia issued a stern warning about severe consequences across the region, while Turkey accused Israel of pursuing expansionist policies.
Pakistan issued a strong condemnation of Israel’s targeted strike against Hamas leaders in Doha, labeling it a “grave provocation” that jeopardizes stability. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, via X (formerly Twitter), called the attack “illegal and heinous,” criticizing the strike on a residential area that risked innocent lives.
He emphasized that Israel’s actions are a clear violation of Qatar’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and warn of potential regional destabilization. Pakistan also voiced support for Qatar’s leadership and expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people against Israeli aggression.
Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar described the attack as “reprehensible” and a stark breach of international law, reaffirming Pakistan’s unwavering support for Qatar and Palestine during this crisis.
Israel confirmed responsibility for the strike through Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who stated: “Israel initiated it, conducted it, and takes full responsibility.” Qatar, which hosts Hamas’s political base, strongly condemned the strike, calling it a “cowardly” act and a blatant violation of international norms that threatens the safety of Qataris and residents.
Qatar’s Foreign Ministry criticized the attack as a serious breach of international law. Spokesperson Majed Al Ansari declared that Qatar “will not tolerate this reckless Israeli behavior.”
Global leaders also expressed concern. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called it a “flagrant violation of sovereignty” and urged all parties to pursue a durable ceasefire.

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun linked the attack to Israel’s ongoing series of aggressions, and Iran called it “dangerous” and a breach of international law. The UAE also condemned the action as a “cowardly escalation” and expressed solidarity with Qatar.
Turkey criticized the targeting of Hamas delegates during ongoing ceasefire negotiations, accusing Israel of pursuing expansionist aims and using terrorism as a state policy. Iran labeled Israel’s strike on Hamas officials in Qatar as “dangerous” and legally unacceptable. Jordan and the UAE joined in condemning the Israeli airstrike in Doha.
