Nuu may not be a familiar name to many, yet this Texas-based smartphone manufacturer has a reputation for creating impressive budget-friendly models. Recently, the company unveiled two new additions to its lineup, the B30 5G and the N10. Nuu is focused on combining affordability with functionality, aiming to provide a premium experience at a wallet-friendly price.

The B30 5G is priced at $290 and features a 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ display, an octa-core 2.6GHz processor, and 8GB of RAM, positioning it as a midrange device with high-end qualities. Its tri-camera setup boasts a 64MP main lens, optimized for capturing stunning images in low-light conditions.

“Our goal at Nuu is to deliver high-quality smartphones that excel in performance across all price ranges,” stated Danny Sit, CEO of Nuu. “With the expansion of our B Series and the launch of the N Series, we’re ensuring users have access to advanced technology regardless of their budget.”

On the more affordable side, the N10 comes in at $100 and features a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core processor, it promises dependable daily performance. It also includes an AI-enhanced 13MP rear camera, alongside a robust 5,000mAh battery similar to that of the B30.

This launch comes amidst fierce competition from larger brands in the smartphone market. By offering flagship-level features at reasonable prices, Nuu is appealing to consumers who desire high performance without the hefty price tag typically associated with major brands like Samsung and Apple.

Both smartphones operate on Android 14, providing enhanced security features and integrating Google’s Gemini AI for a more personalized user experience. Early promotions include the N10 for just $90 and the B30 5G for $260, both offers coming with complimentary Nuu Buds as an added incentive for early buyers.

This isn’t Nuu’s first foray into the spotlight; earlier in the year, the B30 Pro received accolades for exceeding expectations. Initially considered just another budget Android phone, the B30 Pro impressed reviewers with its solid design, employing glass panels for a premium feel. It was powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor and boasted 12GB of RAM for smooth operation.

With a 108MP primary camera, the B30 Pro captured impressive photos for its price point, although secondary camera performance was noted as a potential drawback. Despite lacking features like wireless charging and water resistance, reviewers felt the B30 Pro delivered excellent value at $300, thanks to its user-friendly software and reliable performance.
