More Activision Blizzard Games Joining Xbox Game Pass This Month

As October arrives, it’s that exciting time of year for Xbox and Activision gamers. This month, the offerings from Xbox Game Pass are heavily focused on Activision Blizzard.

Mark your calendars for October 25; it’s a significant day for fans of the franchise. The latest installment in the popular shooter series, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, will be available to cloud, console, and PC players who subscribe to Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Additionally, Modern Warfare 3, the first game from the series added to the service back in July, will also become accessible on Xbox Cloud Gaming the same day, alongside Call of Duty: Warzone.

The upcoming features of Black Ops 6 promise to deliver the classic Call of Duty experience, complete with new multiplayer maps, a Zombies mode, and a single-player campaign. Developer Treyarch and Raven Software have introduced an innovative movement system named Omnimovement, enabling players to spring in any direction. Moreover, the beloved Prestige system returns for player progression, accompanied by a fully customizable heads-up display (HUD).

Activision has announced that preloading will begin at 9 a.m. PT on October 21, with PC users receiving access between 4 a.m. and 11 p.m. PT.

Other features coming to Xbox Game Pass include StarCraft: Remastered and StarCraft 2: Campaign Collection on November 5, also available to Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. While Battle.net multiplayer remains free, those with Game Pass will enjoy single-player campaigns, including all expansions, now boasting upgraded 4K and widescreen support.
