How much time do you invest in mobile gaming on your phone? Many people turn to games as a way to pass the time, but customers of Metro by T-Mobile can take it a step further by using their gaming time to help pay their phone bill. Through a partnership with the Ad It Up app, users can earn points by shopping, playing games, and completing surveys, which can then be applied to next month’s bill.

This opportunity is currently available for select carriers, such as Cricket and T-Mobile. While everyone can download the app, those using carriers beyond these will be notified that their service provider is not supported. The app features a variety of games including Coin Master, Traffic Puzzle, and Cube Master, among others. For those who enjoy puzzles, the popular game 2048 is also available to earn points.

Another benefit of the app is its exclusive discounts at popular retailers like Walmart, Chewy, and Hello Fresh. By shopping, you can accumulate points, allowing you to save money while you earn points toward your bill.

With hundreds of games to choose from, the app caters to both iOS and Android users. After downloading, it tracks all the points you accumulate and provides a way to reduce your bill (or potentially cover it entirely, depending on how much time you spend earning points).

In a time when many are cautious about spending, this innovative and enjoyable approach to settling your phone bill offers a refreshing alternative. The only downside is that Ad It Up currently does not support larger carriers like Verizon and AT&T, limiting its applicability for more users.
