In the trailer for Your Friends & Neighbors, Jon Hamm’s character, Coop, poses the question, “How did everything unravel so quickly?”
Andrew “Coop” Cooper, played by Hamm, appears to have a perfect life filled with wealth, luxury cars, and an elegant home. However, his life takes a nosedive after he loses his job. Recently divorced, Coop figures he can sustain his lifestyle for another six months on his savings. Faced with financial desperation, he resorts to pilfering expensive items from the residences of affluent neighbors. Through his descent into petty crime, Coop uncovers that the hidden secrets and affairs of the wealthy could be far more perilous than he initially thought.
The cast of Your Friends & Neighbors also features Amanda Peet, Olivia Munn, Hoon Lee, Mark Tallman, Lena Hall, Aimee Carrero, Eunice Bae, Isabel Marie Gravitt, and Donovan Colan.
Jonathan Tropper serves as the creator, showrunner, director, and executive producer of Your Friends & Neighbors. Known for his work on Banshee and Warrior, Tropper is also set to write a movie for Lucasfilm’s Star Wars franchise.

The series has episodes directed by Tropper, Stephanie Laing, Greg Yaitanes, and Craig Gillespie, with Hamm, Connie Tavel, and Gillespie as executive producers.
This marks Hamm’s latest leading role in a TV series, having previously won an Emmy for his portrayal of Don Draper on Mad Men. His recent TV appearances include roles in The Morning Show, Fargo, and Landman.
The first season of Your Friends & Neighbors kicks off on Friday, April 11, with the first two episodes available on Apple TV+. New episodes will continue to be released weekly, concluding on Friday, May 30, for a total of nine episodes in the inaugural season. The show has already been greenlit for a second season.
