The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is no longer shrouded in mystery. Samsung has revealed its design multiple times at prominent events, and numerous leaks have provided substantial insight into the upcoming slim and lightweight device. While the launch date remains a topic of speculation, recent leaks offer a credible timeline for its debut.

Given Blass’ impressive track record, this leak strongly indicates a May 13 launch, as suggested by a recent report from Korea. However, the use of Italian in the poster contradicts earlier claims that the May 13 date is exclusively for South Korea, implying that other regions might receive announcements a week later. Blass’ information hints at a synchronized global launch, suggesting that consumers might see the S25 Edge sooner than originally anticipated.
As for specifications from previous leaks, the Galaxy S25 Edge is set to feature the same overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset found in the other S25 models. Despite its sleek design, the phone will boast a 6.7-inch AMOLED display. In a notable departure from tradition, it will only include two cameras instead of three; however, a 200MP primary camera will handle most of the photography tasks, skipping the telephoto option. The slim profile of the phone will also mean a smaller battery capacity than even the base Galaxy S25.
With anticipation building ahead of this launch, it’s likely that we won’t have to wait much longer to discover all the details about this stylish device, which is poised to compete head-to-head with Apple’s anticipated iPhone 17 Air.
