FX Unveils Release Dates for Three Must-Watch TV Shows

FX has unveiled the premiere dates for three of its most anticipated shows slated for 2025: The Bear season 4, Alien: Earth, and The Lowdown.

The culinary chaos resumes in The Bear season 4, set to debut on Wednesday, June 25. All ten episodes will be available for streaming on Hulu at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The series will also be accessible on Disney+ outside the U.S.

Starring Jeremy Allen White as Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto and Ayo Edebiri as Sydney Adamu, among others, The Bear will also feature appearances from Oliver Platt and Molly Gordon in recurring roles.

Created by Christopher Storer, season 4 takes the culinary team into new challenges that test their adaptability and resilience. The season’s synopsis reveals that the chefs will have to evolve as they work towards elevating their culinary establishment.

In Alien: Earth, Noah Hawley’s forthcoming series set in the Alien franchise, the xenomorph arrives on our planet. The two-part premiere will be available on Hulu at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on August 12, with episodes releasing weekly thereafter. This series will also be streamed on Disney+ for international audiences.

Set in 2120, Alien: Earth explores the consequences of the USCSS Maginot’s crash landing. It follows Wendy (Sydney Chandler), a robot with a human mind, and her team of soldiers as they uncover a terrifying discovery that threatens humanity.

Alongside Chandler, the cast includes Timothy Olyphant, Alex Lawther, and a host of other talented actors. Noah Hawley will serve as executive producer alongside series creator Ridley Scott and his team.

Lastly, The Lowdown, crafted by Reservation Dogs co-creator Sterlin Harjo, features Ethan Hawke as journalist Lee Raybon, who is obsessed with chasing the truth, often landing him in tricky situations. The series is set to premiere two episodes on FX at 9 p.m. ET/PT on September 23, with the remainder of the series rolling out weekly over the next six weeks. Episodes will be available for streaming on Hulu the day after airing, and will also be featured on Disney+ globally.
