Juiced Bikes has entered a new chapter under new ownership. On March 31, 2025, Lectric eBikes co-founders Levi Conlow and Robby Deziel shared a message on the previously dormant Juiced Bikes YouTube Channel, introducing themselves as the first two employees of the revitalized brand.
Established in 2009, Juiced Bikes was one of the original e-bike companies in the United States. The brand gained recognition for its speedy and enjoyable e-bikes, known for their impressive torque. Digital Trends has evaluated various Juiced models, including the Scorpion X2—a moped-style e-bike celebrated for its versatility and comfort. Unfortunately, reports revealed that Juiced Bikes was auctioned off in October 2024 for $1.2 million.
Hailing from Tempe, Arizona, Lectric eBikes was founded in 2019 and, despite being a newer entrant, has made waves with its competitive pricing, technological advancements, and exceptional customer service. As a result, Lectric was the top-selling e-bike brand in the U.S. during 2023 and 2024, a success that CEO Conlow aims to maintain in 2025.
Reason Behind the Purchase of Juiced Bikes by Lectric eBikes’ Founders
Sporting Juiced Bikes t-shirts and positioned in front of a white backdrop with two Juiced Bikes displayed, Deziel and Conlow shared their history as customers of the brand.
“We got familiar with the team and products over there, and we really fell in love with the brand,” Conlow explained. “The unique performance and style of Juiced Bikes captivated us as individuals in our 20s who were seeking something different.”
“It's thrilling to be here today because we genuinely love the product and what the brand symbolizes. Known for its high-performance and quick acceleration, a Juiced bike means reliability regarding those features, and that enthusiasm fuels our excitement about this opportunity,’” he added.
What to Anticipate with the Juiced Bikes Relaunch
Conlow and Deziel emerged as the highest bidders in a bankruptcy auction last October, although Deziel did not specify the total bid amount. The acquisition process concluded on March 27, 2025, but it’s important to note that no physical assets were part of the deal.
The duo acquired the brand name, intellectual property, trademarks, and design rights but clarified that this does not include any inventory.
This means there are no completed bikes, parts, or supplies available, nor any existing relationships with manufacturers or suppliers to assist prior customers with warranty claims.
The new owners plan to establish Juiced Bikes as a distinct venture separate from Lectric eBikes. They are familiar with building infrastructure as they’ve done so successfully with Lectric before.
They aim to produce e-bikes that stay true to the original Juiced Bikes ethos of performance and style while implementing the competitive pricing and customer service strategies that contributed to Lectric’s tremendous success.
According to Conlow, it may take nine to twelve months before the newly branded Juiced Bikes releases its first e-bike. He acknowledged that some customers had paid for bikes they never received, expressing their commitment to reach out to these customers to find resolutions that work for them.
Conlow emphasized, “We see this as an opportunity to demonstrate our business model, and I hope that the goodwill we’ve built at Lectric helps foster excitement about the future of Juiced with our involvement.”
