Dubai Police have apprehended a man suspected of performing hair transplants without a license inside his home in a residential apartment, enticing clients with “easy and attractive offers.”
According to authorities, the suspect was caught in the act during a raid conducted in collaboration with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
Further investigations revealed that the individual was residing in a three-bedroom apartment, with two bedrooms used for family living and the third transformed into a makeshift clinic. Authorities found medical tools, medications, anesthetics, and disinfectants on-site, all of which were seized.
Dubai Police issued a statement emphasizing that the suspect was risking lives by performing medical procedures without proper licensing or adherence to health and safety regulations. They stressed that such actions are a direct violation of UAE laws.
The police urged the community to steer clear of unlicensed or suspicious offers, warning that seeking services from unregulated clinics could seriously endanger health and safety. They strongly recommend that people only use licensed and registered medical facilities for treatments.
