Preparations are underway in Dubai for the much-anticipated New Year’s Eve celebration, with plans for an extraordinary show to usher in 2026.

The spotlight is once again on the iconic Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, where preparations for a spectacular fireworks display are already in progress.

In a display of the event’s scale, Dubai Mall is also getting ready to dazzle visitors with a spectacular light show designed to complement the fireworks at the Burj Khalifa.

Mohammed Al Abbar, the Emirati businessman behind the construction of both the world’s tallest building and the Dubai Mall, is personally overseeing the event preparations this year.

Al Abbar shared a behind-the-scenes video on social media platform X, giving a glimpse into the significant efforts being made ahead of the grand celebration.
