Set against the backdrop of the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Fountain has once again come to life after a five-month shutdown, astonishing visitors with its breathtaking display.
The famous attraction reopened with a show set to an Arabic melody, drawing large crowds eager to see its grand return.
Emaar Properties founder Mohamed Alabbar, the developer behind the Burj Khalifa, stated that the Dubai Fountain represents “the spirit and energy of Dubai,” bringing joy and amazement to everyone who visits.
Recent upgrades feature advanced technology, refreshed choreography, and improved sound and lighting systems to deliver an even more spectacular experience for viewers.
Now, daily performances will be held every half-hour from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Regular afternoon shows will occur at 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. from Saturday to Thursday, and at 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Fridays.
Construction of the Dubai Fountain started in 2005, with its official opening in 2009.
Known for being the world’s biggest dancing fountain, it can shoot water jets up to 152 meters high, illuminated by 6,600 lights and 25 color projectors.
A second phase of renovations is planned to begin in the second quarter of 2026.
